if…

if everyday was like today, i’d be an alcoholic!

my BFF…you know who you are

I wish my bff was around all the time but its days like today when I really need her. I just can’t explain it but you know, you all have a bff, someone who just makes everything alright, makes all troubles disappear, does something stupid to make you laugh, and completely just lets loose in the “safe zone.” I need that “safe zone” friend, that friend to make me laugh and take away all of my troubles, and that friend to do something stupid. I need a McCallisters visit, IHOP, On the Border AND a Freebirds burrito all at the same time. I need an neverending Target visit and random phonecalls from Martina Martinez and maybe a little bit of Arbor Mist, ha! Along with that Arbor Mist I need the Wicked soundtrack as well as a new pair of pants for my bff because I’m sure she’ll need them, haha! I need her to tell me that all boys are stupid, that they all need to get their act together, and that I deserve better. I need her to listen to my painful stories of how bad my kids are this time of the year and how much I really dislike being observed by college students and that I don’t feel experienced enough for someone to actually learn something from me. I think you get it, I need my bff!

tip for women traveling in europe

Some information found when researching for Europe…

“Wear a real or fake wedding ring and carry a picture of a real or fake husband. There’s no need to tell men that you’re traveling alone, or whether you’re actually married or single. Lie unhesitatingly. You’re traveling with your husband. He’s waiting for you at the hotel. He’s a professional wrestler who retired from the sport for psychological reasons.” –Rick Steve

Ok, so now I need to search through pictures to find my “husband.” Too bad its not really like that, looking through a catalog to find my husband….haha!!!

friends

Words cannot express how great this weekend was. I needed this weekend badly and it was well worth the day I took off from school and the 5 hour drive to and from houston. I cannot even begin to explain how precious my friends are to me!
